THE STORY
Our family has over 30 years experience distilling agarwood. Crassna Oud is an extraordinary selection of wild agarwood from deep jungle mountains in Thailand. Blended and fermented with fresh clean water such as rainwater and mineral water, triple-filtered by lava rock to purify the quality of water. The smell is of premium quality and has a unique, sweet smell which gives the wearer a sense of elegance.

Oud is an Arabic name for Agarwood/Aloeswood
Agarwood or just Agar is the resinous heartwood from Aquilaria trees, large evergreens native to southeast Asia.
The trees occasionally become infected with mould and begin to produce an aromatic resin in response to this attack. As the infection grows, it results in a very rich, dark resin within the heartwood. It is this precious resinous wood that is treasured around the world.
The resin is commonly called Gaharu, Jinko, Aloeswood, Agarwood, and Oud and is valued in many cultures for its distinctive fragrance, thus it is used for incense and perfumes.
Oud is the most luxurious perfume base derived from the agarwood tree found in Far East Asia. It takes nearly 300 hundred years to form in the trunk of the tree. Trees can live past 1000 years.
